Spring Has Sprung!

We had a fantastic weekend enjoying the beautiful weather that has finally arrived in cold New Hampshire. Julia and Charlotte had a blast on the swing set, and Julia enjoyed a picnic lunch with Daddy.

A couple cute "Juliaisms"...

We were in the car and Chris was doing what Julia constantly does. "Mommy/Daddy, what are you doing" over and over and OVER. So Chris was saying "Julia, what are you doing" over and over to tease her and she put up her hand said "enough Daddy"! She's 2.5!!!

We always tell Julia in a lovingly way that she is rotten. So Chris was telling her she was rotten and she said, "No, Daddy, you rotten".

I told her she was being fresh because she was, well, being fresh (not my angel ;-)). So she says with gusto, "I not fresh, Mommy, I mad"!. LOL

Charlotte is sooooooooo close to crawling-any day now. She is doing great at daycare. She even eats for them! We have yet to get her to consistently eat for us. We may be able to sneak a bite into her, but she quickly catches on and proceeds to do this-video ahead (click on youtube link or cut and paste into new browser):

She cut three more teeth this weekend! Her two top front teeth and one on the side. She went from none to tons in a matter of weeks! And, she is loving to naw on her biter biscuits. When you are about to give her a bottle or biscuit her arms and legs start flailing everywhere, and she gets extremely giddy and laughs. Then, if the biscuit is broken when you open it (as it was yesterday) and turn your back to go get a new one she is in hysterics within one second! It is pretty funny how much she loves them!

She is repeating "Mama", "Dada", and she did "uh-oh" this weekend. Her favorite thing to do is to roll all over the place, and when she finds something she likes she grabs it and rolls onto her back to explore whatever is in her hand. There is a method to her maneuverings!

Her newest habit is pulling her own ponytail on top of her head. I usually have a "Pebbles"esque pony on her head, and her arms are always up playing with it. However, she sends herself into crying fits because she twists her hands in her hair and yanks. She does not yet realize it is attached to her head. She is our genius child, lol.

Enjoy some pics!

LOVE this one!

Pooped!

This is Julia asleep on the couch. We met Auntie Jen in Burlington for dinner last night, and Julia fell asleep on the way back. This is the first time I have ever carried her in, and she did not wake up. I had to leave her on the couch for a minute so I could go get Charlotte out of the car.

Your Eyes Are Not Deceiving You......

Yes, that is Charlotte putting something willingly into her mouth. She looooves biter biscuits! Too bad we had to retrieve a piece lodged in her throat! This child does not know how to chew and eat! Where and WHO does she come from, lol?

We are starting to enjoy our first bout of Spring weather-finally. Chris took the girls for a ride in the wagon, and they both loved it. I took them last night, and was talking on my cell (I'm a great multitasker :-), and Julia was yelling frantically for me to get Charlotte's binky. It was so nice of her to tell me it was back a ways back in the road, but, gee, I wonder how it got detached from Charlotte and thrown in the road to begin with!??!

Chris and I are avid American Idol fans, and Chris made a cd with some of the songs from this year. If you ask Julia to sing a song (as I did for Auntie Stacey last night) she will first sing "Let It Be", then "Halleluja", and then "Imagine". She has quite the repertoire.

Charlotte is rocking like a mad woman up on her knees. It's countdown time to C-day (crawl day). Yes, my life will, once again, be over as I know it! She is really coming into her personality, and she is a ham! She LOVES playing outside in the sand at daycare. But, what she loves is to go from sitting to on her belly and then kick and flick the sand everywhere. He teacher said she gets covered when she is out there. It's funny-Julia hated sand when she was little. Oh, and I have never seen a baby put on such a crying act as Charlotte does. Many times if she is in a room with me, and I either turn my back to her or walk out of the room she is in a hysterical crying fit in seconds. I turn around or walk back in, crying ends and we're golden. Argh! She;s lucky she is so cute!

Anyways, not much else going on. We're going to start planning Charlotte's first b-day party for 6/7, but that's about it!! Enjoy the pics!

10 Months Old!

Charlotte turned 10 months old 4/7. Where does the time go?

She is still refusing to eat baby food. They can get a few bites in at daycare, but she plays Mommy and Daddy and refuses to take anything in. You would think we were killing her when she sees the spoon coming! She is getting over a very bad cold. We had to get a nebulizer for her and give her treatments. Those were FUN! She also cut her third tooth-top right(her left). I have to start thinking about planning her first birthday bash!!!

Julia is as hysterical as ever. And, there are times where she stops Chris and I dead in her tracks when she comes out with her zingers or does something that we could never even expect. For instance, the other night before bed she was drawing on her magna doodle. She drew something and showed it to me, and she told me it was a vacuum. It WAS a vacuum! I went to get the camera to take a pic of it, but she erased it before I could. She did it again the following night, but the drawing wasn't as good as the night before (think Hoover rather than Dyson, lol).

Last weekend we met Auntie Lulu and Uncle Billy for an early dinner at the Burlington Mall (Cheesecake Factory). We had so much fun, or I should say, Julia had so much fun (there really is no need for Chris or I to be there!). Julia danced in Abercrombie and Fitch (her favorite place to dance) with them, and wreaked havoc all throughout the corridors of the mall. I'm not sure who was having more fun!

Anyways, here are some recent pics. Julia was quite pleased last night when she walke in from daycare and asked "Hi Mama. You making tacos?" Thank goodness I was. Her favorite!
