Life as we know it....
The girls are watching Garfield, and I am in the kitchen. Charlotte is complaining of being scared, and I heard Julia tell her to come here. Julia is sitting on the arm of the couch. Charlotte is laying down with her head next to Julia, and Julia is holding her hand over Charlotte's eyes. God, I love them.
The other night I made mini meatloaves. When I was taking them out of the oven Julia asked me what they were. I said, "mini mealoaves", and she scrunched her face up and said, "what the hell!??!" LOL-Oops! I asked her to repeat what she said, and she did not want to, but I assured her I would not be mad. She repeated it, and I told her she should not say that and neither should Mommy or Daddy.
Then, this morning Charlotte and Julia were watching tv and Julia changed the channel by accident. Charlotte yelled, "oh damnit." I guess Mommy and Daddy need to work on their language skills!
The girls are doing so great, and the exciting news around here is we are expecting a baby in July. The girls were thrilled with the news. It melted my heart to see their excited reactions. We did balloons and new big sister shirts and a Big Sisters cake.
Julia is excelling at school and her teacher told me she needs to bring in harder books for her to read! It is amazing how reading just clicked in her brain.
Julia has been fixated on heaven lately. The other day Julia and Charlotte were looking for Julia's stuffed bunny in her room. Charlotte asked her where it was, and Julia said "Heaven". Tonight when we got home from school Julia could see her breath and was blowing it up to heaven.
Julia is very protective of my belly. If Charlotte is too rough she yells at her, and she showed Charlotte the proper way to run up to me, lol. Run, stop right in front of me, then hug me.
The other morning Julia and I were laying in my bed, and I whacked her in the face by accident. I said I was sorry and Julia insisted about 5 times it was not my fault, and it was ok. She is just so sweet.
Anyways, that's a recap in a nutshell! Enjoy some pics!
