Boston Children's Museum

We had a wonderful time at the Boston Children's Museum on Saturday. Julia had an absolute blast, and we will definitely be going back. She spent the most time on an indoor slide (um, we could have gone to McD's for free, lol), and every time she went down she had to say "1,2,3 GO" first. It did not matter how many anxious little kids were behind her waiting for their turn to go down.

She did an awesome job walking with us. She knew if she got too far she was going into the stroller, and every time we told her to come back she did. It was nice!

After the museum we visited my Grandpa at the hospital. He has a bunch of scar tissue built up and pushing on his sciatic nerve. He seemed to be doing a bit better yesterday. Julia loves her Great Grandpa. She gave him high 5's and sang songs. It made his day and was really nice.

Then we went to our beloved Chipotle for dinner in Medford. Chris and I were in heaven. There is a rumor one is opening in Nashua soon. I refuse to get excited until I get confirmation straight from the company!! It is the best!

A cute little story about Sunday. We went to brunch with friends, and Julia was putting her Lulu shoes on (crocs). Chris was outside, and she was trying to put them on, and she said, "Daddy be so proud of me". It is so cute to me that she wants him to be proud of her. We always say we are so proud when she does something. It's nice to know it affects her!

Charlotte is doing great....although she was Miss Crank Pants yesterday. I think she may be getting more teeth. A cute little story-yesterday we went to brunch with friends, and then we went food shopping. Chris and Julia went home, and I went with Charlotte to Target. So she was away from her toys for a while. We got home, and I had bought her a new rattle that she seemed to love (well, enjoyed eating the cardboard it came on)so I put the rattle next to her on the floor along with her beloved mixing spoon. When she saw that spoon it was like she saw a long lost friend. She grabbed it and just started giggling. She is too much!

I have also added a link for a Youtube video of Julia and Charlotte. It is hysterical, and, luckily Charlotte was fine! Julia got a little too excited while paying!

Anyways, enjoy the pics....

Sesame Street Live and Family...

What could be better?

Julia (and Charlotte) had a wonderful time at Sesame Street Live on Saturday with Memere and Poppy. Julia was enthralled by the larger than life characters and lights. She had fun with her cousin Aleah as well.

After the show we hung out at Memere and Poppy's, and Auntie Lulu and Uncle Billy came over for a visit. Julia absolutely lit up when she saw them. And, what could be better than horsie rides on Auncle Billy's back?

We vegged on Sunday and hung around. We did a lot of playing-a big hit of the night? Toilet paper. Why do we bother buying toys?? You'll also catch Charlotte with her beloved mixing spoon (can play with that for hours), and catch her peeking through the changing table. This is what she does every time we change her. God forbid she can't look at her sister for 3 minutes!

JCPenney Pics

We took the girls for pics. I am very pleased how they turned out, except the picture of Julia by herself was terrible. They took her pic against a pink background, but the way it showed up in the actual pic was the exact same color as her shirt. It looked terrible, and I am bummed because she looked adorable in the pic. I ended up ordering a single pic of her that I did not love as much. When it comes in I will decide if I want to take her back toget a pic by herself.

We Have Teeth!

No new pics, yet, but I will have some this weekend.

Charlotte turned 8 months old yesterday, and when I picked her up from daycare on her note it said "Her two bottom teeth cut through!" Sure enough, I felt her lower gums and she has teeth! You can barely see them, but you can feel them. So cute!

After dinner last night Julia was running around in the living room, and playing. We were all sitting in there, and Charlotte was happy and content the entire night because Chris gave her a long handled white mixing spoon. She LOVED it. She turned it over and over and kept switching hands. It was adorable!

Who needs baby toys?!?!?

No pics but a little update...

Batteries are dead on the camera. I need to fix that pretty soon!

Bubbie came for a visit yesterday, and she brought Julia a little pocketbook. Julia LOVES it and was carrying it around on her forearm. She then told us she was leaving to go to the store to buy "soda and cheese" and she was looking in the bag for her "keys". She kept saying bu-bye. It was quite cute.

She then had the cordless phone on her ear and was calling Bubbie-even though Bubbie was standing right in front of her. OK! So she's not a genius ALL the time, lol.

Auntie Nessa, Jeffrey, Peter, and, of course, Artie (their Boxer puppy) came to babysit while my mother and I went to see Dancing With the Stars on tour, and Julia and Charlotte had a blast. Apparently, Charlotte kept reaching out for him and loved it when he kissed her. I am eternally grateful and thankful to Auntie Nessa coming and babysitting. Due to Chris' flight being delayed and diverted (otherwise, they were going to run out of fuel!) Vanessa and the boys were here until 11. OUCH! THANK YOU!
