Life has been hectic but good! Chris was in school and swamped with work for a couple months so I was almost a single mommy for a while! He has a break from school now so it has been nice spending the last few weeks together as a family of three! I am due in less than 4 weeks and NERVOUS!
Julia is doing wonderful. She is 21.5 months now! She LOVES her new daycare. We also got a bike seat for her to ride behind Chris and that is her new favorite thing to do. Rain or shine she asks for "bike". Chris refers to her as the "bike Nazi". When he stops for a rest she screams "MORE" and demands to get off at the playground when he attempts to just ride by ("SLIDE SLIDE"). She is an absolute riot.
She loves pouncing in puddles and I almost had heart failure when Daddy was letting her do it in her good sneakers yesterday, lol. Yep-I will get over that!
She has turned into a wonderful eater, and she is understanding more and more now. She recognizes green and white (although everything is usually green at first) and she is able to follow small commands (throw this in the trash, bring this to Daddy etc). Unfortunately, she loves to pick EVERYTHING up and put it in the trash, and she also enjoys taking things OUT of the trash. I have to be very careful as she was munching on some half eaten fig newtons that she had no longer wanted from earlier! We may need to lock the trash up soon!
