Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope everyone had a nice holiday! We enjoyed ours at my brother's, and Julia and Charlotte had a blast. The food was delicious (what's better than fried turkey?), and the company was wonderful. We then went to my in-laws and enjoyed another meal over the weekend, and spent time with Auntie Lulu and Uncle Billy who we are now excited to say are Charlotte's Godparents. We are very excited for our trip starting this Saturday with them to Walt Disney World. Please think of us at 6AM when we embark on our flight, and around 8 when we start on our 4 hour layover! Julia is extremely excited to see Mickey Mouse (we'll see what happens when she actually encounters him!), and all she does is talk about Mickey Mouse, Auntie Lulu and Uncle "illy".
Both the girls have been battling ear infections and terrible colds. They were just rechecked a couple days ago and the ear infections are gone, thankfully, but the colds are lingering. For the first time at the doctor Julia did not cry, and was extremely brave. She loved that I was proud of her, and she could not wait to tell Daddy she was a big girl! It is unbelieveable how mature she is getting, and she is talking in full sentences. On one hand it makes me sad that she is growing up so fast, but on the other it is so fun to actually have a real coversation with her. Sometimes she has a conversation with herself, lol. The other morning I was coming up the stairs, and she was sitting at the table haveing her breakfast. I heard her say, "Where is Daddy? In the shower? Oh." It cracked me up. She seems to be afraid if the Roomba. She is constantly telling us the "Roomba will not hurt you". She says the same thing about a back massager we have on the couch in the family room. We try to assure her over and over they will not hurt her. I guess it takes a lot of convincing!
Charlotte is growing like a weed! She will already be 6 months old on Dec 7, and she is just now starting to get her first tooth. It is making her (and, um, us lol) miserable! I am stocking up on Orajel for our trip! Otherwise, we have been blessed with another fantastic baby. She sleeps through the night, and only cries if there is a legitimate reason. Whn we get back from our trip we will be starting her on rice cereal. We were told to hold off until 6 months as she is a roly poly! She is already 16 pounds!
Well, that is all. Hope everyone is staying warm as winter approaches! Enjoy the pics!
