The Biggest Surprise of Your Lives
Dear Julia and Charlotte,
We surprised you with your dream come true! We told you on Sunday night that we would be waking you very early to go see a friend. Very early was 4:30AM! You both slept in Julia's room, and when we came in to wake you you guys were very ready to wake up and all smiles. You still had no clue what we were doing but were excited! We got you dressed and went out to the car where you discovered Mickey and Minnie Mouse in your car seats. We asked you why they were in your car seat, and you both replied, "Mickey and Minnie!" We told you were going to see them and Julia looked at us incredulously and said, "We're going to Mickey Mouse World?????" We said, "Yes!", and you were both laughing, and Julia said, "we're going on a long drive!". We said, "We're not driving! We're flying!" Julia said, "We're going on a plane?" We said yes, and you turned around and saw your suitcases. You guys were so excited! When we finally got to the resort you were surprised again when Auntie Lulu and Uncle Billy showed up!!
We had the most wonderful time in Disney! Julia was so grateful and thankful all week and kept saying it was the best surprise ever. That warmed our hearts and made us so happy. Neither one of you asked us to buy you anything the entire time we were there. It was so hot, and we would go into stores to cool down, and you never asked for anything in the stores. Because of that, on the last day, I took you guys into a store so you could each pick something out.
Julia, you rode Thunder Mountain, Test Track, and Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld. You had NO fear! You wanted to go on Kracken at SeaWorld, but I was so grateful you did not meet the height requirement! Charlotte cried a bit when she could not go with you, but it was nothing a frozen lemonade did not fix. Charlotte, you loved that!
You guys got your faces painted, Charlotte got her hair braided, and Julia got a hair wrap. We had so much fun with you, and it was probably my most fun trip to Disney world. Seeing it through your eyes was so rewarding and fun. Julia loved meeting all the characters and made sure to get Charlotte's autograph book autographed for her because she was afraid to go up to the characters. Charlotte did enjoy meeting the princesses, and you both had the best time at our special lunch with the princesses at Epcot (or, "Webcot" as Julia calls it).
The pool had a big water slide which Julia loved and a smaller one that Charlotte loved. It was soooo hot, and we spent a whole day at the pool one of the days we were there. There was singing and dancing and you both had no insecurities and went right up there and participated in the activites. We got such joy watching you!
When it was time to leave you girls cried. Julia exclaimed, "I don't want to go home. Home is boring." We couldn't argue with that, but sadly, we did have to leave.
We love you girls so much and are so glad you had so much fun. You made our dreams come true, too-as you do every day!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
