A couple funnies........

I got to hang out with Auntie Jen and baby Adalyn today, and Jen told me something Julia said to her when she babysat a few weeks ago. She forgot to tell me.

Apparently Julia was in the bathroom washing her hands. Jen put a stool in there for her to stand on, and she, of course, took her sweet time because she gets to wash her hands (which she loves) and look at herself in the mirror! So, after being in the bathroom she comes out and says to Jen, "Auntie Jen, Uncle Richie's toothbrush is a mess!". LOL! Jen agreed with her (apparently it is but this is secondhand info so I don't know for sure ;-). I came home tonight and told Chris that story and he remembered that the night we picked them up from Jen's Julia told him Uncle Richie's toothbrush was "digusting" (said without the s). Apparently, it had a profound effect on her, lol.

Also, Jen told me how she asked Julia if she had fun at Bubbe's surprise birthday party, and Julia told Jen she got Bubbe a Tomtom! (we did get her one, but had no idea she knew what it was called). It was ironic for Jen to tell me this tonight, because last night at Brian and Vanessa's Julia asked Bubbe out of the blue if she liked her Tomtom. We all got a kick out of that. Her memory is scary. She also told Bubbe that the picture of the 4 kids (my girls and my nephews) was taken at Chanuka! We never really explained Chanuka to her (yet) so the fact that she knew that was also really funny.

Last night Chris asked Charlotte for some cuddles and she said no. He pretended to cry, and she watched him for a minute. She walked over to him and said "it's ok" and was patting him. So cute! My poor baby has been sick going on 8 days now. She has had a fever every day (along with bloody noses, a snotty nose, and a cough). She went in to have her blood tested to make sure there was nothing wacky going on, and, thankfully it came back normal. But, that was 3 days ago now, and she is so sick of being sick ( and, we would enjoy a healthy baby too!). I am praying she wakes up tomorrow am fever free!

Finally, we have a very low key weekend coming up. Happy Easter to all our friends who celebrate!
